When you use ExactPages, we collect the following information:

  • Account information: Name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register, or profile data provided by Google OAuth
  • Content data: YouTube URLs you submit, generated blog posts, transcripts, and images
  • Payment data: Subscription plan, payment history, and masked card details (last 4 digits). Full card numbers are processed by WayForPay and never stored on our servers
  • Usage data: Features you use, actions you take within the platform
  • API keys: Third-party API keys you configure in Settings (stored in our database)

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Service
  • To authenticate your identity and manage your account
  • To process YouTube videos and generate blog content
  • To generate AI images for your blog posts
  • To improve the Service and user experience
  • To communicate with you about your account or the Service

3. Data Sharing

We share your data with third-party services only as necessary to provide the Service:

  • Google: OAuth authentication, Gemini AI for transcription and blog generation, Imagen for image generation. Subject to Google Privacy Policy
  • YouTube: Video metadata and transcript retrieval. Subject to YouTube Terms of Service
  • Anthropic: Claude AI for blog content generation (transcripts are sent for processing)
  • OpenAI: Whisper for audio transcription, GPT for blog generation
  • Cloudflare: Turnstile CAPTCHA for bot protection during registration
  • WayForPay: Payment processing for subscriptions (card data is handled by WayForPay, not stored on our servers)
  • Brevo (Sendinblue): Transactional email delivery via SMTP (verification, payment receipts)

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and generated content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual blog posts, videos, and projects at any time. If you wish to delete your entire account and all associated data, please contact us.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

We use the following cookies and browser storage:

  • Authentication cookies: Essential cookies for session management (required for the Service to work)
  • Cloudflare cookies: Set by Cloudflare Turnstile for CAPTCHA verification and bot protection
  • Browser sessionStorage: Temporarily stores UI state (search results, form data) to improve your experience. This data is not sent to our servers and is cleared when you close the browser tab

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your generated content
  • Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
